30 or 60 minutes — which to book

Our 30-minute facial is a focused reset: cleanse, exfoliate, mask and moisturise to brighten and rehydrate, perfect on a lunch break or before an event. The 60-minute facial adds time for extractions, a longer mask, and a relaxing face, neck and shoulder massage, so it works deeper and feels far more indulgent. If your skin needs real attention or you simply want the full wind-down, go the hour.

Tailored to your skin, not a script

Skin changes with the seasons, your hormones and the Brisbane climate, so we assess it fresh each visit rather than running the same routine every time. Oily and congested skin gets a clarifying focus with extractions; dry or tight skin gets layered hydration; dull or tired skin gets brightening and gentle exfoliation. Tell us what is bothering you and we will steer the treatment accordingly.

What a facial actually does for your skin

Beyond the lovely relaxation, a professional facial deep-cleanses pores that home cleansing cannot reach, lifts away dead surface cells so skin looks brighter, and drives in active ingredients while pores are open. Regular facials help keep congestion and breakouts in check, support a smoother texture and give you that post-facial glow. Many clients book monthly to keep their skin ticking over between bigger life events.

Add-ons and extra treatments

We also offer face bleach and full-back bleach for softening the look of dark or visible hair, which pairs neatly with a facial if that is a concern for you. If you are prepping for a wedding, formal or holiday, mention it when you book and we will map out a plan over a few weeks so your skin peaks at the right time rather than reacting on the day.

Before and after your facial

Come with a clean face if you can, though we will double-cleanse anyway. Avoid strong actives like retinol or acids for a day or two beforehand if your skin is sensitive. Afterwards, keep the skin simple — gentle products, SPF, and lots of water — and skip heavy makeup for the rest of the day so your skin can breathe. Avoid direct sun and hot saunas straight after, especially if you have had extractions.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I get a facial?

For most people a facial every four to six weeks works well, which roughly matches your skin cell turnover cycle. If you are targeting congestion, breakouts or a specific event, we may suggest a short course closer together, then a maintenance facial monthly.

What is the difference between a 30 and 60 minute facial?

The 30-minute facial is a focused cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate to brighten the skin quickly. The 60-minute adds extractions, a longer treatment mask and a relaxing face, neck and shoulder massage, so it works deeper and feels much more indulgent.

Are your facials suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. We assess your skin at the start of every appointment and adjust products and exfoliation to suit, so sensitive and reactive skin is well looked after. Let us know about any allergies or active skin medication and we will tailor accordingly.

Will a facial help with breakouts and congestion?

A professional facial deep-cleanses pores, removes dead skin and includes extractions where suitable, all of which help manage congestion and breakouts. Regular facials alongside a simple home routine give the best long-term results for clearer, smoother skin.
